Since my Honey Pot (Yoni) heath became the focal point of my life and subsequently my business, I recognize how integral my reproductive health is in my holistic health. The Honey Pot represents our divine creative center, and everything that we wish to manifest and develop for ourselves along with everyone who experiences our energy. It is strongly correlated to the relationship we have with my most intimate and sacred place. It is fertile ground to create physical life along with manifesting any idea into reality. In other words, we can bring to life whatever it is we can envision, vibrate, become conscious of, implement and execute. Besides being the seat for some of our most precious and vital organs, it holds great power to heal, or hurt. It can save or sabotage.
When I began to evaluate and approach my life through more loving decisions about what I was consuming, (eating, listening to, putting on my skin, watching and thinking) my entire life began to shift and evolve. Through exploring different approaches to physical (and cellular) nourishment, it wasn’t long before I came across the concept of Yoni steaming. I was looking to detoxify and cleanse my sacred space after the birth of my last daughter. What I didn’t realize is that I had tapped into a tool that would allow me to not only detoxify my physical space, but the energetic space as well.
Initially, I was just looking to “tighten back up” after childbirth, I didn’t realize all of the other healing effects Yoni (vaginal) steaming would have on my life. Energetically, it provided a modality for me to release pent-up emotions, suppressed pain and outdated beliefs. On one hand it felt much more enriching and fulfilling, while on the other it felt painful and lonely. I was tightening up alright! Certain dynamics felt tumultuous, challenging and exhausting. But, that’s what can typically be expected with authentic evolution. Holistic healing won’t always feel fun, liberating or rejuvenating. I have found that there is always a bit of chaos preceding intense transformation.
Besides the physical Honey Pot, I am also referring to my “Honest Principles of Transformation”, by which I strive and intend to approach the opportunity , that is my life. Since I am beginning to identify what my authentic life looks like, it makes it easier to hold firm to my boundaries and commitments because I know that they cumulatively come together to create the quality of my life experiences.
Sometimes, society can judge our commitment to embrace and empower ourselves, especially in relation to having an intimate connection to our own sexuality and reproductive wellness. There is a very real and powerful connection between holistic health and mindful perspectives around sex, nudity, sensuality and spirituality.
When I think of the many interconnected transitions, I still see a common theme. How we treat ourselves (and specifically our womb) really shows up in what we manifest in our lives. If we make loving decisions about what we nourish our sacred spaces with (products we expose to it, foods we eat) and whom we allow to have direct physical access to it, we will find a more loving status quo being implemented by default. We will see a lot of physical reproductive health issues go away and experience an up-level in our mental, emotional, psychological and spiritual abundance.
