In the waiting room…

I hope you were able to enjoy the unseaonably BEAUTIFUL weather we experienced this past weekend. I had the opportunity to spend time and space with some of my loved ones and had a WONDERFUL time. We laughed, we cried and above all, we loved.

Love is a peculiar thing because it never really “leaves”. Even when relationship dynamics change or people transition… the (authentic) love shared always stays alive in the hearts of those that experienced it, and by default that love gets transferred to the new people and relationships that form.

I am writing this to you from the waiting room as one of my loved ones undergoes a surgical procedure and I am contemplating on the importance and magic of “the wait”.

As human beings we can tend to be a bit impatient at times wanting things to happen or unfold NOW, verus later. However.. the wait, is where the power is. The time that passes, is where the transformation unfolds. Things need time to “play out”..no matter what the subject matter is.

Life is a series of events that fill our time with memories and experiences and should never be rushed, or looked upon as some nuisance.

When we are waiting in life, it’s up to us to decide “how” we will wait. Will we continue to be passive or will we take initiative to create opportunities that benefit us and everyone around us? Sometimes the wait requires stillness, and sometimes it requires movement.

It’s best to “wait” with awareness, compassion, kindness, appreciation and empathy. These traits make the difference between a fulfilling life, and one that feels like a proverbial prison.

I hope you are experiencing lots of love, peace and satisfaction in your life. If you’re not, I want to remind you that it is completely possible for you and if you need a pep talk, feel free to reach out to me…just be forewarned that I’m a straight shooter and I’m not good at sugar coating things (nor do I believe it’s helpful) .

Meg

ALL THINGS YES GOD WELLNESS

Stop Waiting on God

Unfortunately some of us have been taught that we are to “wait on GOD” to change the things in our life that we are currently unhappy with. Whether it’s feeling depressed, feeling anxious, feeling unworthy or unappreciated.

What if God is waiting on you?

Instead of asking God to “fix things” for you, how about telling GOD thank you for the small things that most of us take for granted. Things like: the use of your wrists, healthy toes, the ability to see and hear, the ability to make choices, our beds and digestion systems.

Although I am far from my days of studying my Masters Degree in Divinity and even the dogma of traditional Christianity, there is SO much wisdom to be found in the passages of biblical texts.

Romans 12:2 states “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”

Transformation doesn’t happen from God coming down and changing everything in your life, it happens through you VIEWING everything in your life differently with a renewed perspective. Once this happens, new decisions are made, new gratitude is found and new circumstances begin to unfold.

I want to encourage you today that if you are “waiting” for anything, it should be YOU. You will not see a smile in the mirror until you smile first. Likewise, you will not see a change in your circumstances until you decide that there is no other option and act accordingly.

When I decided that I was no longer willing to continue repeating unhealthy relationship patterns (and I’m not talking about just romantic, I’m talking friendships, colleagues, the parent-child relationship) it meant that I began to change the things about MYSELF that contributed to these dynamics.

When I decided that I wanted to body to be more slim, fit and healthy, I started to cut out sugar, seed oils and incorporated fasting.

When I decided that I was going to start a business to help facilitate womb healing in other woman, I started to post on social media, post flyers around town and spark conversations with strangers.

None of these things happen overnight, however the common denominator is that I first, made a decision. I wasn’t “waiting for God to make any of these things, I took accountability and responsibility for changing them and THEN, God came through and facilitated miracles beyond my wildest imagination.

For me, V Steaming was a MAJOR catalyst to being able to access my heart (and womb) to discover what I truly desired to let go of, and to invite in.

I invite you to join me this Friday, 10/13 at 8PM EST to gather in a safe space to steam and encourage you to begin making decisions that will lead to a life filled with joy, fulfillment, gratitude and prosperity.

I hope this message finds you well and inspired.

Improvement is Eternal

I have been doing a lot of teaching recently and sharing the concept that it’s super important to have compassion with ourselves. We must understand that this journey to heal and become our the highest version of ourselves is an eternal one. There is no “finishing point”, no end.

I share this because I used to believe that “once I did _______” or ” once I achieved _______” THEN I would be successful and happy. I had to really discover that I can celebrate the ways in which I am happy and successful today, in this moment. I successfully brushed my hair today, I am happy about having my best friend and her husband in my kitchen preparing food for my baby shower as smells of delicious cuban foods fill my new home. I now understand that I can access the feelings I want to feel RIGHT NOW, not “when” the next marker is met.

I want to encourage you to take inventory of your current situation and identify the successes (no matter how big or small). Identify how you have experienced a moment of happiness (no matter how long it lasted). I don’t care if it was just from getting a good laugh at something like this….

F6EE28F2-8CEA-4D1F-A342-6FCF56A02D25

Here are some things that can also move you towards improving our body, mind and spirit.

  • Believe in God & pray
  • Drinking 2-4 gallons of water a day
  • Not comparing yourself to others
  • Not trying to impress people
  • Cold showers (Even the last 20 seconds of your regular shower)
  • Meditate
  • Not relying on relationships for happiness
  • Working out
  • Having a leader mentality
  • Reading books
  • Breathing  in from your nose (reminder)
  • Having gratitude
  • Cleaning your room
  • Taking breaks of social media –
  • Not limiting yourself –
  • Making up your bed (discipline practice)
  • Quitting/moderating caffeine & sugary drinks
  • Walking in nature
  • Having a plan  for things you want to do
  • Identifying how you want to FEEL based on those things you want to do
  • Being aware of what you doing with your valuable time & energy

Sending you lots of love,

Meg

I was miserable

Happy Wednesday!

As I was backing up my computer yesterday I started to go down the rabbit hole of photos from back in 2014. I came across this gem of when my daughter was a newborn and I was struggling to maintain my sanity while breast-feeding, working, mothering, and battling postpartum depression.

I had a lot of resentment in my heart (and womb).

I had recently found out about steaming and was doing it consistently (see the commode in the background?). What I didn’t realized as I embarked on my vaginal steaming journey was that I was getting ready to open up the door to my womb/heart connection and really gain the opportunity to get to the root of the things that affected my decisions, my perspective and ultimately my experiences.

Once I began to forgive MYSELF, I then gained the true capability to forgive others. Forgiving empowered me to have freedom. It gave me the power to let go and create a new narrative for my life. It allowed me to ultimately reach a new level of love within myself and towards others.

Next Monday (the 19th) I’m going to be covering the ways I’ve learned to embark on the process of forgiveness for myself and others. I hope you’ll join me for this powerful virtual healing session on 8/19/2020, even if you’re not available all registrants will receive a copy of the replay.

You can register below:

If you’d like to prep take 20% off the online store now with code “IFORGIVEME”

I invite you to explore and nurture your womb/heart connection as well ♥️ If you’ve been on the fence I encourage you to take a chance and invest in yourself. If you’re not sure where to start, here is a video of different ways you can steam at home.

I am sending you love, peace, clarity and wisdom.

The Womb & Heart Connection

Good Day Honey’s!

I am sincerely sending you peace, love and acceptance today. I’ve noticed that acceptance tends to be an underdog in terms of desires. When I reflect on my own healing journey, I realize how pivotal acceptance has been in experiencing true joy…

True acceptance kills unreasonable expectation and thereby eliminates disappointment.

This is one of the many revelations I received when I began to give special care and attention to my womb space through Vaginal Steaming. Initially, I was steaming for postpartum recovery, I didn’t realize that there was a very strong and powerful Womb & Heart connection was. While I was trying to “get back right” and “tighten up” after my youngest daughter was born, I had no idea that my heart was also beginning it’s own healing journey.

I began to cry a lot more.. and I mean A LOT MORE. Crying felt like such an amazing release. It was cleansing and healing. It felt like I was being gently urged to be more vulnerable and let go of the protective personality traits that had been built up over years.

I didn’t realize how guarded I was.

Steaming felt so good (not just physically) that I began doing it at every opportunity I got. I shared it with all my family and friends, really anyone who would listen.

Seemingly unrelated I began being drawn to other self care practices that focused on my heart’s well being. I began to meditate, I began to focus on the things I had to be grateful for. I began to accept the things (and people) that I could not change.

This was life changing.

I want to encourage you today that if you haven’t tried steaming, please give yourself the opportunity. If you have, don’t stop. Just like any profound change, it happens gradually. The rate at which you transform is really dependent on what your current beliefs and perspective are.

I have been helping people through steaming awareness and personal life coaching to rapidly move towards their own personal transformation and I have to say, it’s some of the most rewarding work we’ve every done.

Everything Is A Figment Of Your Imagination

Greetings Family!

Did you know that we live by imagination? Plans are imagination. They don’t become reality until we experience them. I can plan to wake up and workout and drink a healthy smoothie but until I actually DO IT, it’s my imagination.

So as it turns out, we are always imagining things. Let me say that a different way… every single thought in your head is your imagination. Whether it’s a plan or a “random” thought. A daydream or a memory. Imagination. All of it!

Why not imagine things that we want to happen instead of things that we don’t?

I am definitely simplifying a strategy that is WILDLY successful in the creation of the experiences we desire, but I want you to conceptualize that you can in fact imagine your optimal health, imagine your ideal relationships, imagine your ideal physique and so on and so forth.

I teach a lot of these techniques and strategies in my life coaching sessions and also have lots of free content around it on my YouTube Channel.

I’ve also created a great book list that has a lot of good resources to explore these concepts more that can be found here: https://yesgodwellness.com/pages/recommended-reading

Quarantine, Clean & Steam

Greetings Yes God Family,

If you’re reading this, you are already at least somewhat mindful and conscious of the fact that the mind, body and spirit are very connected. That’s what I love about energy, your vibe truly does attract your tribe!

I am watching life as I know it transform and continuing to be obsessive about all the amazing things I have to be grateful for. It seems like new boundaries are being imposed on the public everyday which means that our normal way of being is changing, and it’s our responsibility to see the glory, beauty and opportunity in our new realities.

The phrase “Cleanliness is Next To Godliness” is a saying that has so many different applications. Cleaning our physical domicile’s, our hearts, our wombs, our minds, our finances, our refrigerators, the list could go on and on.

With hygiene and cleanliness being a new global priority, this is a PERFECT TIME to get our homes in order. Clean, organize, purge, release, reflect and rejuvenate! What better time than to catch up on all the things we have been “too busy” to address.

This past weekend, we had our carpets steamed, we cleaned out and donated piles of things from the garage, we are staying on top of laundry and caught up on administrative paperwork. We have chosen to be very intentional about using this opportunity to sit still and be present in our current state. From my experience, nothing but good comes from doing this.

Meditation, yoga, steaming, grounding, prayer and fasting are other ways in which we can sit still and be present with our current energetic state, and we all know that has a direct correlation to the other things that show up for us. (Be sure to skip to around the 22 minute mark, the full lives are up on Instagram)

Right now would be a perfect time to invest in yourself with time and presence. If you are interested in some very valuable tools, strategies and information about maximizing the minimum effort, please check out our where we discuss Universal Law, Pareto’s Principle, Rapid Goal Accomplishment and much, much more.

I think that’s about it for now. We are still focusing on marching into wellness and the for 15% off is still enabled. Most importantly, let’s take care of ourselves in whatever manner we may need. Let’s stay calm and mindful about who we desire to be and what emotional state we desire to be in at any given moment. Attention and awarness of these things are extremely transformative and powerful.

With So Much Love,

Meg

7 Tips For a Great Sunday

Hola Honey!

I’m back on the mainland and ready to get home to do my Sunday routine to prep for the week. I love using this day to really get clear about how I want my week to go, what I’d like to complete.

Do you have a Sunday routine?

I have decided to list a few of my non-negotiables for Sunday and perhaps you may be inspired by them (or nah, and that’s cool too lol).

  1. LAUNDRY – I know this may be a tough one, it used to be painstaking for me.. I had no issues with washing and drying but putting away was my nemesis. Now, I simply fold things as SOON as they come out of the dryer. I noticed that my mood and overall energetic vibration is a lot higher when I don’t have piles of clothes around my home and all my things are neatly put away and available when I need them. Don’t forget to wash your bedding!
  2. REFRIGERATOR – Admittedly I am a recovering OCD neat freak (my children would say I never recovered) but I cannot stand to have clutter in my fridge. That leftover dish from Tuesday? Yep! Time to let it go. I like to go through my fridge on Sundays and get rid of any old produce that wasn’t used, empty out the tupperware and throw out any expired food. It just FEELS better and it creates more space for more yummy and nourishing foods to replace the old.
  3. JOURNALING – Setting 1-3 primary goals for the upcoming week is a great way to actually accomplish them. They may not be things that can be done in one sitting, and thats ok! If you’re anything like me, START WITH ONE! I often sit down to make a “little list” of things to do and wind up with 3 pages that overwhelm me and then cause me to procrastinate. A full brain dump is helpful sometimes, but for this Sunday let’s focus on 1 (3 maximum).
  4. TAKE A BATH and/or STEAM – Sunday is really a day for resting, although the things I’ve listed up until this point may feel like “work”, it’s important to keep in mind that they are adding to your PEACE of mind and can also be considered meditative. I like to tidy up with some really great music that makes me feel good blasting from my bluetooth speakers. Baths are my GO TO for relaxation. There’s something about being submerged in hot water and herbs that allows stress to melt away.
  5. CLOTHES – I have two young children who don’t love waking up in the morning. Anything I can do to lighten the load for them and me in the morning is well worth it. I lay their outfits out for Monday morning as well as my own.
  6. FOOD – Having meals planned for at least Monday and Tuesday is a good way to cut down on stress and also to save money by not swinging by for crap on the way home.
  7. PRAYER – I love praying everyday but Sunday is a day that I can really take my time to get into contemplating all the people and circumstances and dynamics I want to send love to.

Welp! I hope this was helpful.

Peace Is Right Here, Right Now

know that sometimes peace can feel like a distant fantasy with mounting task lists and scattered obligations between career, family, school, business etc.

As parents, friends, daughters, sons, lovers and professionals we wear many hats and like most human beings, we want to be “successful” at our many relationships, endeavors and pursuits.

What I’ve learned is that success is an inside job. Success is being at peace, regardless of life’s circumstances. It’s being content and grateful with your CURRENT physique, your current income, your current position, status and family dynamic.

I used to be caught up in the exterior appearance of things. I put a lot of stock in the way (I thought) I was perceived by others. I realized that my own judgment of myself was what I assumed others were thinking of me. The truth is that no one really cares that much about you and what you are or aren’t doing. Using other people’s feelings, reactions or responses to the ways in which we choose to live our lives is actually an excuse and excuses are based in fear.

I chose to BELIEVE that a different experience was possible. It didn’t happen overnight, but I slowly began to be intentional about living in MY OWN authentic truth. I realized that when I did that, it inspired others. The very people I thought I would hurt, I was actually helping. The fear of offending became a love of empowering.

Steaming was one of those things that seemed weird to others.. yet I knew that it was going to heal me. I didn’t realize that it went beyond the physical when I discovered and began incorporating it into my self care routine.

I know better now.

Steaming allowed me to connect deeply with my own heart. I realized that my womb and my heart are in fact connected, intricately.

We have created the “I Love My Womb” Bundle which is designed to provide plant based products which care for your womb and your heart. This Gift Box includes access to the Time Is On Our Side course which assists in getting clear about our visions, desires and goals and how to move towards accomplishing them in the least amount of time possible.

Sending much love, peace and bliss to you.

Enjoying My Manifestations

Nipsey Reminds Me…

Wow.

This week has been emotional for me. Typically I do not comment on any social happenings but this has rocked me. The death of Ermias Ashghedom (better known as Nipsey Hussle) has shaken the world. If you didn’t know who he was before, you likely know who he is now. If you don’t, I’ll allow you the opportunity of doing your own research.

I want to take a moment to share the inspiration that this loss has revitalized within me. I too, have suffered great personal loss through death. On November 11, 2006, my eldest son’s father, Michael Adams, was brutally murdered at the age of 27, when our son was just 8 years old. Immediately following these losses I questioned GOD. Admittedly, I was angry, hurt, sad, shocked. I even felt that I was with God. I didn’t get it yet. I didn’t understand. I didn’t realize that I was being called to appreciate and cherish the times I had with my loved ones. I was focused on the fact that I no longer had them.

12 years later (a relatively short timeframe)  I lost my older brother (best friend and confidante) Michael Porter to terminal pancreatic cancer on January 8, 2015. I was a bit further into my spiritual evolution so I was able to grasp the gratitude in even being able to know and experience him, but, I was still sad and hurt that this person whom I had grown used to communicating with on a daily basis was no longer here with me on the physical plane.

In retrospect, it took me several years and experiences later to really understand and realize the great blessing and gift I had been given in the actual experience of being able to love so deeply. The magnitude of my pain matched the magnitude of love that I had been capable of feeling. What a blessing! What an incredible and wonderful experience to have been able to have.

The celebration ceremony that was held in Nipsey’s honor was humbling, breath-taking and so wonderful. His mother was such a beacon of perspective alchemy for the world to witness. I was so overjoyed to watch and listen to the very intentional and whole perspective she expressed. We are divine, we are whole. YES GOD!!!!! The energetic shift that Nipsey’s ascension has created is so beautiful to watch. It also now holds humanity to a higher standard. Although I felt triggered initially about my loss, it has fostered a much greater appreciation and calling to truly walk unapologetically in my purpose.

Hoping it’s had similar effects on you.

With So Much Love,

Megan Mac
