Mastering Emotional Triggers for a Fulfilled Life

Hey ya’ll! It’s Megan here and I AM your FAVORITE Transformation Life Coach! Welcome in if this is your first time here, welcome back if you’re already part of the Yes God Family!

Goddess Consciousness

Here at Yes GOD Wellness, we focus on Goddess Consciousness, which is an awareness of the divine feminine energy within ALL of us.  Goddess Consciousness is intentional about pausing to observe how we TRULY FEEL in any given situation or circumstance… and then honoring those emotions so that we can live in alignment with our true authentic self while having the space to nurture ourselves and others. Goddess Consciousness is also about understanding that our worth and value is intrinsic (or internal), it is not defined by our external possessions or circumstances.

Today, I am going to discuss how YOU, yes YOU…. are the common denominator in your own problems. (yes you are!!)  The GREAT news is that although we ARE the problem, we are ALSO the solution.

My goal is to help you STOP sabotaging yourself and start using that beautiful mind and heart of yours….to manifest all the things you want for your life.

The 1st way I am going to help you to stop self sabotage is by making you aware of HOW you’re even doing it in the first place. (I think its a fair to say that no SOUND person WANTS to sabotage themself..)

The 2nd way  I am going to help you to stop sabotaging yourself is to introduce a new perspective and some very simple shifts that can enable you to immediately transform from passenger to pilot, from pawn to Queen, spectator to champion. Ok??

The 3rd way I am going to help you is by sharing my latest offering with you, which I am SUPER EXCITED ABOUT and that is the Become Unrecognizable Group Coaching Cohort, which begins October 1st. It is an 8 week program where we will have daily access to one another and will also meet one on one every week to create a safe space for you to come out of your anxious mind and embrace your Goddess Consciousness. This is going to help you magnetize more with less,  along with experiencing a profound sense of joy and fulfillment as you watch your new life quickly unfolding before your eyes! We are going to become TRULY Unrecognizable.

Now, before we jump right in… I’m going to ask that you please keep an open mind as I share this information because if you’re ready and you implement what I am going to share today,  it can ABSOLUTELY transform your life, 1000%, immediately.

I even challenge you to TEST the things I’m sharing and let me know what happens… Ok? Ok! Let’s get right into it.

Life hurts

Let me be the first one to say… I KNOW personally and firsthand that life has its highs and lows and can be painful and difficult… from childhood trauma, relationship trauma, financial issues, health issues, betrayal, accidents, depression, anxiety, losing loved ones and so much more. It’s a  natural response to feel victimized by life’s circumstances.

Trauma can manifest itself in several ways that insidiously take over our life.. things like self doubt, fear of failure, feeling constantly overwhelmed, feeling stressed out, attracting wrong relationships, anger issues, emotional instability, procrastination, money blocks, burnout, comparison and envy, people pleasing, attachment to outcomes, lack of focus, inconsistency, low self worth, low self esteem and sooooooo much more. These things can have a SERIOUS negative impact on your quality of life.

The painful experiences we’ve had create emotional triggers for us. A trigger is some type of stimuli that causes a strong emotional response/reaction within us. This emotional reaction is typically in response to situations or dynamics that feel similar to our original trauma(s)…When we’re triggered, our emotional reactions are usually more intense than the situation warrants, but it can be hard to decipher that because your internal emotional state is VERY REAL to you while you’re experiencing it.

It’s important to note that triggers cause an INVOLUNTARY response, it typically feels like anxiety, panic, fear or maybe sometimes even anger.

I’m going to give 5 examples of how these unresolved traumas may be playing themselves out in your life.

At the end of each example, I am going to highlight for you, the difference in results when you allow your triggers to go unchecked and run amuck…versus when you adopt Goddess (or God) Consciousness and start transforming your triggers into your greatest teachers!

We gon learn some alchemy today, can we do that?? we ready??

YES GOD!!!!  Alright, now be sure to let me know in the comments if you can relate to any of these trigger examples, ok?

Trigger Example 1 – Criticism or Perceived Rejection

If the original trauma was a childhood where your parent’s love or approval was conditional and based on perfection or performance. This could create a deep fear of rejection or failure.

The emotional reaction you may have once you feel you’re being criticized could be the involuntary feelings of intense shame, anger, or sadness. You may lash out in defensiveness, you may argue, over-explain, or shut down and avoid further interaction.

The consequences of NOT knowing how to manage this trigger can lead to strained relationships, loss of opportunities, and a cycle of insecurity, where you may begin to avoids situations where you might face any type of critique.

The Goddess Consciousness approach to this trigger would be to pause and take a deep breath, which allows us to drop into our body, connect with our heart and first separate the criticism from your self-worth., (our ego’s have a tendency to be some of the biggest internal bullies). We would then assess the validity of the criticism (is it even true) and ultimately explore if and where you could use actually USE the feedback constructively and to develop our character and foster growth in creating more healthy relationships.

Trigger Example 2 – Abandonment or Fear of Being Left

If the original trauma was past experiences of being abandoned or neglected, especially by caregivers or romantic partners.

The emotional reaction you may have once you feel like you’ve been left could be panic, desperation, or unwarranted jealousy when a partner or loved one pulls away even slightly. You may feel that they are being abandoned again. You may become clingy, demanding, or accusatory, constantly seeking reassurance, or you may push the other person away to avoid being hurt.

The consequences of NOT knowing how to manage this trigger can be that your reactive behavior overwhelms or suffocates the partner, leading to actual abandonment, creating a self-fulfilling prophecy.

The Goddess Consciousness approach to this trigger would be to pause and take a deep breath, which allows us to  drop into our body, connect with our heart and acknowledge the underlying fear(s). Next, we would give ourself space and time to process our fear BEFORE ultimately having a conversations with our loved one expressing our authentic needs, which will PROMOTE healthy boundaries and emotional security.

Trigger Example 3 – Feeling Controlled or Micromanaged

If the original trauma or pain was childhood experiences of being overly controlled by strict or overbearing parents, leading to a deep-seated need for autonomy.

The emotional reaction you may have once you feel you’re being controlled or micromanaged could be frustration, anger, and rebellion against any form of perceived control, even if it’s actually relevant or maybe even helpful. You  might reject advice, become defiant, or act impulsively to reassert your sense of autonomy.

The consequences of NOT knowing how to manage this trigger can lead to poor decision-making, strained workplace dynamics, sabotaging relationships and potential opportunities.

The Goddess Consciousness approach to this trigger would be to pause and take a deep breath, which allows us to drop into our body, connect with our heart, and take time to ground back into the understanding and truth that not all guidance is about control. Being able to accept helpful feedback improves relationships, decision-making and the ability to collaborate with others.

Trigger Example 4 –  Being Ignored or Not Heard

If the original trauma was early experiences where your emotions, thoughts, or needs were consistently overlooked or ignored by caretakers or loved ones.

The emotional reaction you may have once you feel like  you’re not being heard could be anger, frustration, or sadness. You might resort to raising your voice, interrupting, or disengage entirely from the conversation, feeling defeated or disrespected.

The consequences of NOT knowing how to manage this trigger can lead to further alienation, as other people may avoid engaging with you because they feel attacked, which leaves the issue unresolved, which again reinforces the original trauma and creates a self fulfilling prophecy.

The Goddess Consciousness approach to this trigger would be to pause and take a deep breath, which allows us to drop into our body, connect with our heart and take time to process before communicating anything. Once we are calm and relaxed, we can express the feeling of being unheard without attacking the other party. This opens the opportunity for our needs to be expressed (which in this case would be our need is to have our perspective considered and valued) This will foster a much more constructive dialogue where both parties feel acknowledged.

Trigger Example 5 – Loss of Control or Uncertainty

If the original trauma was a chaotic or unpredictable childhood where you felt powerless, which has now led to a deep need for control in your adult life.

The emotional reaction you may have once you feel uncertainty or a loss of control could be anxiety or panic when things don’t go according to plan, rigid or inflexible behavior. Overreacting by micromanaging, demanding certainty, or even freezing in decision-making due to fear of uncertainty.

The consequences of NOT knowing how to manage this trigger can lead to burnout, difficulty delegating tasks, and strained relationships in both personal and professional settings.

The Goddess Consciousness approach to this trigger would be to pause and take a deep breath, which allows us to drop into our body, connect with our heart and take time to accept that some uncertainty is part of life and to be expected. We could then be much more productive with our time focusing on what can be controlled, which can reduce stress and create more adaptable, flexible problem-solving approaches.

Again, don’t forget to comment and let me know which one of these you can relate to and how YOU manage yourself when you feel the trigger come up.

Something I live by is the that while our trauma(s) may not always be our fault, they are ALWAYS our responsibility to manage.

The perception that external circumstances dictate our inner thoughts, feelings and belief is actually false. As I just illustrated with those 5 trigger examples, we come ready-made with all of our trauma and automatic emotional reactions, which in turn, influence the external circumstance and ultimately what we manifest and experience

When you show up to life with all these unresolved subconscious trauma’s, they are secretly running the show!

Think of the Wizard of Oz…

Most people have it backwards and think their feelings and thoughts are IN RESPONSE to life’s circumstances. The reality is actually that life circumstances are in response to their feelings and thoughts.

Nervous System Context

This is why learning how to deprogram your involuntary response to triggers is the ONLY way to start manifesting different circumstances and conditions for yourself.

As I mentioned in the beginning of this video, I am going to be sharing a unique perspective that will help you become more self aware of yourself, especially when you’re triggered.

When emotional triggers occur, they activate the sympathetic nervous system (SNS), which is responsible for the “fight-or-flight” response. This response evolved to protect us from threats by increasing heart rate, releasing stress hormones (like adrenaline and cortisol), and causing rapid breathing. These physiological changes lead to feelings of panic, anxiety, and hyperarousal, as the body prepares to either confront or escape danger.

The parasympathetic nervous system (PNS) — the “rest-and-digest” system — helps bring the body back to a state of calm. It slows the heart rate, reduces stress hormones, and encourages deep, steady breathing, promoting a sense of ease, relief, and relaxation.

I know there’s a lot of talk about how what we manifest what we think about and we attract who we are, but I want to be a little more specific about this thing.

WE MANIFEST FROM OUR NERVOUS SYSTEM.

I want you to really ponder that for a moment, pause the video if you need to. Think about the fact that you  manifest from the vibration of your nervous system. It DGAF what you SAYIN, what you truly FEELING?? You can’t hide that!

You could tell people until you’re blue in the face that you’re happy or you could be saying all the affirmations in the world..until you truly learn how to get into your Parasympathetic Nervous System WHILE YOU’RE TRIGGERED, you will continue to manifest from that fight or flight space, which is ultimately fear and will magnetize experiences that confirm your bias to live in fear. This happens through the Reticular Activating System, but that’s a whole different topic for a different video!

So, now for the GOOD PART!!!

A.C.E Framework

I am going to be talking about my ACE framework that is universal and can be applied to ANY situation, large or small, to help you come out of your heard and back into your power.

A.C.E is s acronym for Awareness, Clarity and Experience. I use this framework with my coaching clients and also in my daily life! I teach it to my children, friends.. I even taught it to my mama!

I will explain how to applying the A.C.E framework to your transform your triggers, your goals, your identity…ya WHOLE LIFE!!!

Alright, now we’re gonna run down the A.C.E framework and I’ll explain EXACTLY how to move through each pillar.

Starting with A in the A.C.E framework for awareness, the question prompt for this is “WHAT”S REALLY HOOOOOD” Like, what is going on inside me right now, what am I thinking, what I am feeling, how am i reacting? This is the place where we give ourselves the time and space to move from being the experiencer of emotions to the observer of emotions.

The first thing you should do is take 3 deep breaths and keep your mouth shut. This automatically brings us closer to that parasympathetic nervous system we just discussed. The “rest and digest” mode.

You don’t have to start meditating or anything like that (unless you want to and I HIGHLY Recommend that you do!) but just start by taking 3 deep breaths, keeping your mouth closed and relax.

Just relax for a minute.

Just calm yourself down with your breath.

Just pay attention to your breath and making sure it’s slow and intentional…you may even find you want to go beyond 3 deep breaths because it feels so good!

Next, in the A.C.E framework C for clarity and the prompt here is “How can I flip this script” pay attention to your mind, pay attention to your thoughts. Pay attention to what they’re saying, ask yourself if what they’re saying makes sense. Pay attention to your current script and also pay attention to HOW this current script has created this reaction in you.

Keep breathing, keep keeping your mouth shut and keep asking yourself and exploring if your thoughts make sense.

Lastly, the E in the A.C.E framework is for experience and the prompt here is “Delusions of Grandeur” This is where we actually identify what it is that we’d PREFER to be experiencing and reverse engineer our way to thoughts that will invoke those feelings or experience within us.

So, to summarize A.C.E in a nutshell,

Keep breathing, keep keeping your mouth shut and keep asking yourself and exploring if your thoughts make sense. And then, challenge yourself to completely flip the script and find thoughts that bring you peace and empowerment.

Conclusion

In conclusion:

  1. Your unresolved trauma an how it shows up in your nervous system response is the ultimate magnet for what you are attracting and continuing to experience.
  1. The only way to deprogram your trauma responses is to go internal, you CANNOT wait on external circumstances to be ideal for you to feel good. That will NEVER happen. Take control of what you have access to, which is your breath, your thoughts and your reactions. If you can start to consistently do this, your life will change tremendously in a very short period of time. The sky’s the limit once you get this down.

In the waiting room…

I hope you were able to enjoy the unseaonably BEAUTIFUL weather we experienced this past weekend. I had the opportunity to spend time and space with some of my loved ones and had a WONDERFUL time. We laughed, we cried and above all, we loved.

Love is a peculiar thing because it never really “leaves”. Even when relationship dynamics change or people transition… the (authentic) love shared always stays alive in the hearts of those that experienced it, and by default that love gets transferred to the new people and relationships that form.

I am writing this to you from the waiting room as one of my loved ones undergoes a surgical procedure and I am contemplating on the importance and magic of “the wait”.

As human beings we can tend to be a bit impatient at times wanting things to happen or unfold NOW, verus later. However.. the wait, is where the power is. The time that passes, is where the transformation unfolds. Things need time to “play out”..no matter what the subject matter is.

Life is a series of events that fill our time with memories and experiences and should never be rushed, or looked upon as some nuisance.

When we are waiting in life, it’s up to us to decide “how” we will wait. Will we continue to be passive or will we take initiative to create opportunities that benefit us and everyone around us? Sometimes the wait requires stillness, and sometimes it requires movement.

It’s best to “wait” with awareness, compassion, kindness, appreciation and empathy. These traits make the difference between a fulfilling life, and one that feels like a proverbial prison.

I hope you are experiencing lots of love, peace and satisfaction in your life. If you’re not, I want to remind you that it is completely possible for you and if you need a pep talk, feel free to reach out to me…just be forewarned that I’m a straight shooter and I’m not good at sugar coating things (nor do I believe it’s helpful) .

With So Much Love,

Meg

ALL THINGS YES GOD WELLNESS

Stop Waiting on God

Unfortunately some of us have been taught that we are to “wait on GOD” to change the things in our life that we are currently unhappy with. Whether it’s feeling depressed, feeling anxious, feeling unworthy or unappreciated.

What if God is waiting on you?

Instead of asking God to “fix things” for you, how about telling GOD thank you for the small things that most of us take for granted. Things like: the use of your wrists, healthy toes, the ability to see and hear, the ability to make choices, our beds and digestion systems.

Although I am far from my days of studying my Masters Degree in Divinity and even the dogma of traditional Christianity, there is SO much wisdom to be found in the passages of biblical texts.

Romans 12:2 states “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”

Transformation doesn’t happen from God coming down and changing everything in your life, it happens through you VIEWING everything in your life differently with a renewed perspective. Once this happens, new decisions are made, new gratitude is found and new circumstances begin to unfold.

I want to encourage you today that if you are “waiting” for anything, it should be YOU. You will not see a smile in the mirror until you smile first. Likewise, you will not see a change in your circumstances until you decide that there is no other option and act accordingly.

When I decided that I was no longer willing to continue repeating unhealthy relationship patterns (and I’m not talking about just romantic, I’m talking friendships, colleagues, the parent-child relationship) it meant that I began to change the things about MYSELF that contributed to these dynamics.

When I decided that I wanted to body to be more slim, fit and healthy, I started to cut out sugar, seed oils and incorporated fasting.

When I decided that I was going to start a business to help facilitate womb healing in other woman, I started to post on social media, post flyers around town and spark conversations with strangers.

None of these things happen overnight, however the common denominator is that I first, made a decision. I wasn’t “waiting for God to make any of these things, I took accountability and responsibility for changing them and THEN, God came through and facilitated miracles beyond my wildest imagination.

For me, V Steaming was a MAJOR catalyst to being able to access my heart (and womb) to discover what I truly desired to let go of, and to invite in.

I invite you to join me this Friday, 10/13 at 8PM EST to gather in a safe space to steam and encourage you to begin making decisions that will lead to a life filled with joy, fulfillment, gratitude and prosperity.

I hope this message finds you well and inspired.

With So Much Love,

Meg

ALL THINGS YES GOD WELLNESS

Improvement is Eternal

I have been doing a lot of teaching recently and sharing the concept that it’s super important to have compassion with ourselves. We must understand that this journey to heal and become our the highest version of ourselves is an eternal one. There is no “finishing point”, no end.

I share this because I used to believe that “once I did _______” or ” once I achieved _______” THEN I would be successful and happy. I had to really discover that I can celebrate the ways in which I am happy and successful today, in this moment. I successfully brushed my hair today, I am happy about having my best friend and her husband in my kitchen preparing food for my baby shower as smells of delicious cuban foods fill my new home. I now understand that I can access the feelings I want to feel RIGHT NOW, not “when” the next marker is met.

I want to encourage you to take inventory of your current situation and identify the successes (no matter how big or small). Identify how you have experienced a moment of happiness (no matter how long it lasted). I don’t care if it was just from getting a good laugh at something like this….

I was miserable

Happy Wednesday!

As I was backing up my computer yesterday I started to go down the rabbit hole of photos from back in 2014. I came across this gem of when my daughter was a newborn and I was struggling to maintain my sanity while breast-feeding, working, mothering, and battling postpartum depression.

I had a lot of resentment in my heart (and womb).

I had recently found out about steaming and was doing it consistently (see the commode in the background?). What I didn’t realized as I embarked on my vaginal steaming journey was that I was getting ready to open up the door to my womb/heart connection and really gain the opportunity to get to the root of the things that affected my decisions, my perspective and ultimately my experiences.

Once I began to forgive MYSELF, I then gained the true capability to forgive others. Forgiving empowered me to have freedom. It gave me the power to let go and create a new narrative for my life. It allowed me to ultimately reach a new level of love within myself and towards others.

Next Monday (the 19th) I’m going to be covering the ways I’ve learned to embark on the process of forgiveness for myself and others. I hope you’ll join me for this powerful virtual healing session on 8/19/2020, even if you’re not available all registrants will receive a copy of the replay.

You can register below:

https://event.webinarjam.com/register/1/lprr0ay

If you’d like to prep take 20% off the online store now with code “IFORGIVEME”

I invite you to explore and nurture your womb/heart connection as well ♥️ If you’ve been on the fence I encourage you to take a chance and invest in yourself. If you’re not sure where to start, here is a video of different ways you can steam at home.

I am sending you love, peace, clarity and wisdom.

With so much love,

Meg

The Womb & Heart Connection

Good Day Honey’s!

I am sincerely sending you peace, love and acceptance today. I’ve noticed that acceptance tends to be an underdog in terms of desires. When I reflect on my own healing journey, I realize how pivotal acceptance has been in experiencing true joy…

True acceptance kills unreasonable expectation and thereby eliminates disappointment.

This is one of the many revelations I received when I began to give special care and attention to my womb space through Vaginal Steaming. Initially, I was steaming for postpartum recovery, I didn’t realize that there was a very strong and powerful Womb & Heart connection was. While I was trying to “get back right” and “tighten up” after my youngest daughter was born, I had no idea that my heart was also beginning it’s own healing journey.

I began to cry a lot more.. and I mean A LOT MORE. Crying felt like such an amazing release. It was cleansing and healing. It felt like I was being gently urged to be more vulnerable and let go of the protective personality traits that had been built up over years.

I didn’t realize how guarded I was.

Steaming felt so good (not just physically) that I began doing it at every opportunity I got. I shared it with all my family and friends, really anyone who would listen.

Seemingly unrelated I began being drawn to other self care practices that focused on my heart’s well being. I began to meditate, I began to focus on the things I had to be grateful for. I began to accept the things (and people) that I could not change.

This was life changing.

I want to encourage you today that if you haven’t tried steaming, please give yourself the opportunity. If you have, don’t stop. Just like any profound change, it happens gradually. The rate at which you transform is really dependent on what your current beliefs and perspective are.

I have been helping people through steaming awareness and personal life coaching to rapidly move towards their own personal transformation and I have to say, it’s some of the most rewarding work we’ve every done.

Everything Is A Figment Of Your Imagination

Greetings Family!

Did you know that we live by imagination? Plans are imagination. They don’t become reality until we experience them. I can plan to wake up and workout and drink a healthy smoothie but until I actually DO IT, it’s my imagination.

So as it turns out, we are always imagining things. Let me say that a different way… every single thought in your head is your imagination. Whether it’s a plan or a “random” thought. A daydream or a memory. Imagination. All of it!

Why not imagine things that we want to happen instead of things that we don’t?

I am definitely simplifying a strategy that is WILDLY successful in the creation of the experiences we desire, but I want you to conceptualize that you can in fact imagine your optimal health, imagine your ideal relationships, imagine your ideal physique and so on and so forth.

I teach a lot of these techniques and strategies in my life coaching sessions and also have lots of free content around it on my YouTube Channel.

I’ve also created a great book list that has a lot of good resources to explore these concepts more that can be found here: https://yesgodwellness.com/pages/recommended-reading

What is Vaginal Steaming & Why You Should Try It

WHY SHOULD YOU TRY VAGINAL STEAMING?

What would currently be considered an alternative/complementary medicine, Vaginal Steaming (V Steam) is the process of adding medicinal herbs to boiling water and positioning your pelvic area over the steam to absorb the therapeutic volatile oils as they are released from the herbs. The steam delivers the oils directly into the bloodstream via the blood vessels which are accessible through the vulva and perineal tissue. This modality is beneficial whether or not, you possess a uterus.

Traditionally, one of the most commonly known applications of this ancient tradition was to assist with the release of lochia after childbirth. Recently however, it has been shown to greatly assist with emotional and mental health, along with providing overall body detoxification, along with alleviating symptoms from a large variety of gynecological imbalances.

Vaginal steaming can assist with:

Facilitating an energetic release of traumatic experiences, along with establishing a deeper connection with your divine authentic self, creating empowerment to evolve into your best version.

Significant reduction in pain, bloating and exhaustion associated with menstruation

Alternate treatment of chronic vaginal/yeast infections, while working to maintain healthy odor

Regulating irregular, prolonged or absent menstrual cycles

Decreasing in excessive menstrual flow as well as reduce dark purple or brown blood at the beginning and/or end of menstrual cycle

Natural Holistic Management of Menopausal symptoms, including but not limited to: including dryness or pain during intercourse

Promoting Hormonal Alignment

Beneficial for Fertility

Beneficial for Uterine Fibroids, Ovarian Cysts, Uterine Weakness, Uterine Prolapse & Endometriosis.

Assistance with the repair of a vaginal tear or Episiotomy

Assistance with the healing of Hemorrhoids.

Detoxification of  the womb and removal of  toxins from the body.

Yes God Wellness has a unique M.E.T.H.O.D. for the approach in which we can use steaming to empower our personal development along with the release of stagnant dynamics in our lives, both energetically and physically.

Mindfulness – Being mindful about what your mind is full of. ( Pause, Observe Your Self Talk)

Explore/Engage – Subconscious self talk should be observed to identify opportunities to create a more empowering inner dialogue. Frequently, this means revisiting of pain that has not been fully or thoroughly processed. We can only release what we are aware we’re carrying.

Transform – Perspective is a choice and can intentionally be reframed. Once we have arrived at this step, we can incorporate Vaginal Steaming to energetically assist us to release those old paradigms and patterns we have allowed to become a part of our natural internal dialogue. Once we can begin to transform our perception, we can begin to truly transform our lives.

Honesty – We must be willing to be completely honest with ourselves. If we cannot be honest, we cannot change.

Opportunity – Learning to identify the opportunity in situations is critical to evolution. There is always a lesson to be learned and an opportunity to grow. All pain offers an opportunity which can become more clear once we release it and adjust our perspective. See  Perspective Alchemy.

Development – Through our growth, honesty and transformation, we can begin to uncover the great gifts which are hidden inside all of our experiences. Purpose is closely correlated with pain. We all have come here to offer our own unique gifts to the world.

I am watching life as I know it transform and continuing to be obsessive about all the amazing things I have to be grateful for. It seems like new boundaries are being imposed on the public everyday which means that our normal way of being is changing, and it’s our responsibility to see the glory, beauty and opportunity in our new realities.

The phrase “Cleanliness is Next To Godliness” is a saying that has so many different applications. Cleaning our physical domicile’s, our hearts, our wombs, our minds, our finances, our refrigerators, the list could go on and on.

With hygiene and cleanliness being a new global priority, this is a PERFECT TIME to get our homes in order. Clean, organize, purge, release, reflect and rejuvenate! What better time than to catch up on all the things we have been “too busy” to address.

This past weekend, we had our carpets steamed, we cleaned out and donated piles of things from the garage, we are staying on top of laundry and caught up on administrative paperwork. We have chosen to be very intentional about using this opportunity to sit still and be present in our current state. From my experience, nothing but good comes from doing this.

Meditation, yoga, steaming, grounding, prayer and fasting are other ways in which we can sit still and be present with our current energetic state, and we all know that has a direct correlation to the other things that show up for us. (Be sure to skip to around the 22 minute mark, the full lives are up on Instagram)

Right now would be a perfect time to invest in yourself with time and presence. If you are interested in some very valuable tools, strategies and information about maximizing the minimum effort, please check out our where we discuss Universal Law, Pareto’s Principle, Rapid Goal Accomplishment and much, much more.

I think that’s about it for now. We are still focusing on marching into wellness and the for 15% off is still enabled. Most importantly, let’s take care of ourselves in whatever manner we may need. Let’s stay calm and mindful about who we desire to be and what emotional state we desire to be in at any given moment. Attention and awarness of these things are extremely transformative and powerful.

With So Much Love,

Meg

7 Tips For a Great Sunday

Hola Honey!

I’m back on the mainland and ready to get home to do my Sunday routine to prep for the week. I love using this day to really get clear about how I want my week to go, what I’d like to complete.

Do you have a Sunday routine?

I have decided to list a few of my non-negotiables for Sunday and perhaps you may be inspired by them (or nah, and that’s cool too lol).

  1. LAUNDRY – I know this may be a tough one, it used to be painstaking for me.. I had no issues with washing and drying but putting away was my nemesis. Now, I simply fold things as SOON as they come out of the dryer. I noticed that my mood and overall energetic vibration is a lot higher when I don’t have piles of clothes around my home and all my things are neatly put away and available when I need them. Don’t forget to wash your bedding!
  2. REFRIGERATOR – Admittedly I am a recovering OCD neat freak (my children would say I never recovered) but I cannot stand to have clutter in my fridge. That leftover dish from Tuesday? Yep! Time to let it go. I like to go through my fridge on Sundays and get rid of any old produce that wasn’t used, empty out the tupperware and throw out any expired food. It just FEELS better and it creates more space for more yummy and nourishing foods to replace the old.
  3. JOURNALING – Setting 1-3 primary goals for the upcoming week is a great way to actually accomplish them. They may not be things that can be done in one sitting, and thats ok! If you’re anything like me, START WITH ONE! I often sit down to make a “little list” of things to do and wind up with 3 pages that overwhelm me and then cause me to procrastinate. A full brain dump is helpful sometimes, but for this Sunday let’s focus on 1 (3 maximum).
  4. TAKE A BATH and/or STEAM – Sunday is really a day for resting, although the things I’ve listed up until this point may feel like “work”, it’s important to keep in mind that they are adding to your PEACE of mind and can also be considered meditative. I like to tidy up with some really great music that makes me feel good blasting from my bluetooth speakers. Baths are my GO TO for relaxation. There’s something about being submerged in hot water and herbs that allows stress to melt away.
  5. CLOTHES – I have two young children who don’t love waking up in the morning. Anything I can do to lighten the load for them and me in the morning is well worth it. I lay their outfits out for Monday morning as well as my own.
  6. FOOD – Having meals planned for at least Monday and Tuesday is a good way to cut down on stress and also to save money by not swinging by for crap on the way home.
  7. PRAYER – I love praying everyday but Sunday is a day that I can really take my time to get into contemplating all the people and circumstances and dynamics I want to send love to.

Welp! I hope this was helpful.
